Replace three windows with one canopy style and one lower transome double pane glass to match opposing S wall's windows.

Remove soffits from living areas OR remove wood trim and round all edges and corners and treat just like walls (plaster) to open & lighten things up. Update lighting to bounce/move light throughout the space.
