This door will be moved, but just showing how flow is cut between indoors and outdoors with current ceiling design.

Treat ceiling just like walls (plaster) to open & lighten things up. Carry this outside using same color/texture on roof overhang. Update lighting to bounce/move light throughout the space.

This particular part of the roof will be raised and reworked for new entrance.
